Wabiit Kiosk — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Wabiit Kiosk is a point-of-sale application designed to run on Square Terminal hardware inside restaurant locations. It allows customers to browse a menu, place an order, and pay — entirely on-device at the restaurant.

This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No account is required to use it. No user profiles are created. Nothing typed or tapped in the app is retained after the session ends.

2. Data we do not collect

Wabiit Kiosk does not collect, store, or share any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information
• Payment card numbers, CVV codes, or any financial data
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
• Browsing history, usage analytics, or behavioral data
• Photos, camera input, or microphone input
• Any biometric or health data

3. Payment processing

All payment transactions are processed directly by Square, Inc. through Square Terminal hardware. Wabiit Kiosk never sees, handles, or stores payment card data at any point. Square is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification available in the payments industry. Card data is encrypted at the hardware level by Square before it is ever transmitted.

4. Device permissions

Wabiit Kiosk does not request access to the device camera, microphone, contacts, location services, photos, or any other sensitive device permission. The app communicates exclusively with Square's API to retrieve the restaurant's menu catalog and submit orders.

5. Network communication

The app connects to Square's APIs over encrypted HTTPS to load the restaurant's menu catalog and process orders through Square Terminal. No data is sent to any Wabiit server during a customer session. All communication is between the app and Square's infrastructure.

6. Children's privacy

Wabiit Kiosk is a business-facing point-of-sale tool intended for use inside restaurant locations. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the date above. Because the app collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
