SMS Notification Program

Wabiit Order & Appointment Notifications · Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Program description

Wabiit LLC ("Wabiit", "we", "us") operates an ordering platform for restaurants. The Wabiit Order & Appointment Notifications program sends transactional text messages — secure payment links, order confirmations, order-ready alerts, and appointment reminders — to customers who have opted in while placing an order through a Wabiit-powered automated phone ordering line. Every message is triggered directly by the customer's own action. No promotional or marketing content is ever sent through this program.

2. How consent is collected

Consent is collected in exactly one way: verbally, from the customer, during a phone call the customer initiates.

The customer calls the restaurant's Wabiit automated ordering line and places an order. Before any text message is sent, the system reads the customer a disclosure that identifies the program, states that message and data rates may apply and that message frequency varies, and explains the STOP and HELP keywords. The customer must answer affirmatively before any message is sent. If the customer declines, no text is sent and the order continues by email instead.

Opting in is never a condition of purchase, and phone numbers are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. The opt-in experience

This is the disclosure read verbatim to the customer on the automated ordering line before any text message is sent:

Automated phone ordering line · Verbal opt-in script

"Would you like me to text your secure payment link and updates about this order to the number you are calling from? Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply HELP for help, or STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Is that okay?"

  • Customer says yes: the customer is opted in and receives the payment link and updates for that order at the number they are calling from.
  • Customer says no: no text message is sent; the order continues by email.

4. Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies and depends on the customer's activity; a typical order generates one to three messages (payment link, confirmation, ready alert). Message and data rates may apply according to the customer's mobile plan.

5. Opting out and getting help

  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. A final confirmation message will be sent and no further messages will follow.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, email inavarrete@wabiit.com, or call (214) 673-5714.
